Apple Tops Fortune's 'Most Admired Companies' List for Seventh Consecutive Year

They need to stop reading their own press clippings and start innovating again, or they'll be left behind.

I'm wondering who you think will be leaving them behind, and what reasons you think that might start happening.

Who "Admires" Google, other than doe-eyed Wall Street types? I'm terrified of Google and avoid them every chance I get.

Better Google than Apple in my opinion. At least Google wasn't found guilty of price fixing and collusion against customers in the book case.

it is amazing the amount of jealousy and self important entitltlment that there is in this generation. I suppose they need a soviet style nanny state to take care of them.

Do you really think that Apple doesn't help people? Their products have changed the world by helping people live a far better life in a multitude of ways. Your doctor and nurse sell one-on-one personal service. Apple sells products that make overall life better and more enjoyable, and have done one hell of a great job doing it for many years.

Are you out of your mind? Are you seriously trying to equate Apple's "help" to that of a DOCTOR?

I find it hilarious that people here have mentioned human rights abuses about amazon and others but they let Apple slide? Ummm....duh? Apple uses slave labor to make all of these nifty devices. Yeah, people being paid nothing working long hours with no benefits. Some of them kill themselves.

Remember the building jumpers a few years back? I think apples solution was to install trampoline nets outside the buildings so the jumping worker would bounce back to their work area after a suicide attempt. Worked great.

Look, every company is the same. They are NOT warm hearted, save the world, do gooders. They are around to generate profits for investors and avoid/cheat on taxes however possible. Period. No exceptions, including beloved apple. Stop being so naive.
