Apple Trackpad 2 on the 2010 MacPro with BT 2.1?

Does anyone use the Apple Trackpad 2 on their 2010 MacPro with BT 2.1? Just want to make sure it will work before getting one. I've seen YouTube videos where it does but I want more real world experience. I have posted this on the Accessory group with no replies thought since I own a 2010 MacPro I would post it here since I don't think many people check that other group.

Yes, I do...works w/o issue for me.

So it does work on BT 2.1. Good. I'm soooo over changing batteries in my Trackpad 1.

I can also attest to the Trackpad2 working OK on my 2009 Mac Pro.
Little early yet to tell but I suspect the battery life might be a tad compromised, even so that is not a deal breaker,
it's sure smooth, accurate and a total joy to use otherwise.🙂

I can also attest to the Trackpad2 working OK on my 2009 Mac Pro.

On my 2009 MP 4/5.1, the original Magic Mouse was too flakey. Later I borrowed a Magic Mouse 2, and it worked almost perfectly (very occasional flakiness). I also borrowed a Trackpad 2, and it worked flawlessly. I purchased a MM2 to use with my MP, and happy with the results.
