Has anyone received their trade in kit from Apple yet? I'm waiting on 2 kits and they look like they are still in the warehouse in Indiana. Frustrating as I am waiting on $1500 credit.

Same here, label printed, not received by UPS.
 
I did a pickup at the Apple store. Looks like they waited to ship the return kit until I actually picked up the new phone.

(also hoping to get this soon!)
 
Mine was delivered yesterday. If we had our iPhone 13 delivered, can we trade-in in the store, or do we have to use the mail-in kit?
 
I haven’t received anything. Not even an update that it’s on its way. Fortunately, I live near an Apple store. I’m here now and just completed the trade-in.

I know not everyone is near a store, but if it’s an option, the trade-in can be completed faster by going in.
 
They wouldn't let me trade in store, said I had to use the mail in since I selected trade in when I ordered. I think the issue is Fedex, In the past 6 months they have lost 2 packages, and ALL, Yes ALL of my packages are always late. Yesterday I had to throw out away a parashable item since it it was a day late and the ice packs were room temp.
 
Interesting I just checked my tracking and it says the package was damaged in transit and to contact the shipper. I called apple and they said they’ll send me a new trade in kit. But it concerns me if this will somehow affect my carrier discount
 
Mine shows it was pushed back from an estimated delivery date of this week to now October 7th, so still waiting for mine to ship.
 
Picked up my 13 on 24th, and received the kit on 27th. Thought about doing an in-store trade-in instead, but seems like that’s not an option since I’ve selected mail-in at the time of the order.

Not when done as part of a trade in, then they refund to the credit card you used to order your phone. If the amount of the refund is more than you paid, then they refund the balance with a gift card.

From what I recall, they normally inspect the phone and issue the refund/credit within a few days (less than a week), though it may be longer with the number of phones being returned right now.

That is true, but if you are not upgrading to a new device they will send you an email gift card which is what I planned to do. You can just use it on a future purchase.
 
I picked up my 13 PM on the 24th, and they mail in came today. I'm not sure what to do with it since I already turned in my phone when I picked up the 13 PM.
 
Got mine on launch day. Shipped it off Monday AM (UPS), trade in received yesterday. Trade in acceptance email this AM.

It will still take a week or two for it to be returned and processed. My kit arrived today.
