Hi all -

I was wondering how the apple trade in situation is going to work if we are pre-ordering the iPhone X on 10/27. Do we still have the option to trade in our phones for credit once we receive our phones or will they just give us a gift card when you arrive to an Apple Store?

If you decide to trade your device in and mail it, they will send you a gift card in the mail. If you trade in your device in a store, they will give you an instant store credit.

If you reserve your phone for in-store pickup, even though you paid in full online, they will give you a refund credit for the trade in value back to your credit card.
