Apple Trade-In (Will they wait for delivery?)

When ordering Watch Series 4 today not to be delivered until 10/16-10/23 I also entered a trade-in of a series 3. Do they wait the 4-6 weeks until watch is delivered or does trade-in have to be sent within the specified 2 weeks? It's not really a "trade-in" unless you trade it in when you get the new one.

I was wondering the same thing. I don’t really want to go without a watch for 3+ weeks. Im assuming they are shipped together, but never done it before so not sure

In my experience, your return clock starts after you receive your new item.

Thanks .... That's what I assumed but when I did their trade-in form it seemed to say otherwise. I'll go with that. Worse case I can sell it privately for a few bucks more.
