I have a Samsung 46in LED TV and I was just wondering if I connect an Apple TV to it will it be upconverted to 1080p when I streamed video? Thanks

720P is the max output, it can read and stram your 1080p content but it will output it as 720.

Ok thank you, I wonder if the Apple TV in the future will ever be able to push 1080p.

Who knows, I am sure the next revision will have the dual core A5, so hardware wise it is very possible. (actually the current A4 can handel it as well, but Apple don't want 1080p for who knows what reason)

Yes, your TV will upconvert the 720p signal from the Apple TV to 1080p. Same as when you play 480p DVDs your TV upconverts them to 1080p.

When you check "info" on your Sammy, it will show the input as 720p--the Sammy will upconvert the input to 1080p.
