lost all the content on my Apple TV 1st generation now iTunes does not show up on device list how can I sync the content from my iMac ?

Have any older Mac/PC laying around (outdated but still able to run), retired but able to come out of retirement to serve this purpose? Maybe a full system backup to another disc and that backup runs an older copy of iTunes?
Can you get access to either of the above? Friend/Family (older) computer running iTunes? Maybe buy an older-gen Mac and let it take over the role of managing sync with that
