Hi here is my setup.

i7 iMac wired to airport base station. Apple tv 2 in living room via wifi.

iMac home sharing turned on in iTunes, apple tv sees all music through sharing.

When I look at photos loads of them are missing. An example in iPhoto a album called 2004 has 1064 pictures in it. When I select it in iTunes it says 1064 photos in it, apple tv says 115. If I try and find the events (through apple tv) most of them are missing but they are listed in iTunes. This is the same for a number of albums to the point that about 7000 photos are not showing up.

All the photos are the same format .jpg

I have turned off home sharing and turned it back on, changed the folder for sharing and changed it back, turned everything off and back on again, hard reset apple tv but nothing has worked.

Any suggestions ??

Did you open iTunes and turn on sharing there? I found that to be the problem for me....

iTunes menue> Advanced> Choose photos to share??
