Apple TV 2 no menu sounds

I seem to have a weird issue with my apple tv 2. It is fully updated but tonight I have noticed that it is no longer making any sounds in the menus. Videos are fine, just no menu clicks.

I have tried restarting by pulling the plug but it didnt fix it.

Any ideas?

Under the audio and video menu are the sound effects set to on

I had a similar problem with mine

None of the internet menus came up

So i did a reboot
& everything worked
