Does anyone else have problems streaming with Airplay from an iOS 9.2 device to an Apple TV 3?

My ATV3 worked perfectly in both audio and mirroring modes, but after updating my iPad Air 2 to iOS 9.2 it is not possible to stream anymore. My iPhone 6 Plus is still running iOS 9.1 and works just fine.

Apple TV appears as an Airplay destination on the quick menu (swipe up on the screen), but I get not sound or video, even though it appears as connected.

Unfortunately I cannot downgrade the iPad to iOS 9.1 since Apple doesn't offer signed binaries for it anymore. iOS 9.2.1 doesn't fix it.

Any suggestions?

I'm bummed. I bought this Apple TV recently just to use Airplay. :(

All apps, actually. I use mostly Spotify and some brazilian video streaming apps. Native music app exhibits the same behavior.

Streaming from my Mac running OS X 10.11.3 works just fine.

Just for giggles I switched from Pandora to the native Music app. Works fine here (iPad mini to ATV3).

Thank you for your feedback. I'll try a complete reset on the ATV3.

I doubt Apple would mess Airplay on one of their own current devices. After all, the Apple TV 3 is still being sold.

I can also confirm that airplay is working fine for me on a iPhone 6s on 9.2.1 have you tried either a restart of the iPad or toggling to airplane mode on and off? That seems to always work when troubleshooting airplay between my devices

After restoring the AppleTV to factory settings, Airplay worked again, but intermittently. I'll try restarting the iPad and maybe using the 2.4ghz network at home to see if it makes any difference.

Again, thank you all for your feedback.
