I have an Apple TV 3 and it isn’t showing on my suppet devices page. Do devices only show if you are logged into the Apple TV with your Apple info?

I think sometimes it would ask me to log in to my Apple ID if Netflix was idle for a bit too

Can you clarify ?

I thought I had an answer but as I reread you post I’m not so sure. What page doesn’t it show up in? Do you know the 3, unlike ATV4s can’t download apps? I’m not sure if you’re talking about the “find my” page or the finder or even iTunes.

If a device doesn't show up under your Apple ID under devices, it means that the device was not registered to the Apple ID you are logging in with or you removed the device from the list.

Devices are automatically registered when you set up the device to use your Apple ID. If the device is second hand (meaning you bought it off eBay), it could still potentially be registered to the original owners Apple ID.
