Apple TV 4 Can't Play Video

Hi,

I've owned my Apple TV4 for a few months now and it's worked fine up until the last few weeks. I can't seem to play any video for more than a few minutes before it quits back to the home screen.

I've tried playing videos through the apps and used airplay from different devices with no luck. All of the devices software is up to date and I've reset everything including the router.

If anyone has any ideas, I would really appreciate hearing them.

Sounds like a fault with the ATV (eg memory chip). I suggest you take it back to Apple for repair/replacement.

Maybe try a factory settings restore and then update software before you go to the trouble of take it into Apple? Maybe you have a software bug and that might fix it? My own has been crashing when doing some searches within the YouTube app but seems to be working well with other apps, including just playing videos.
