I recently have been having trouble with my Apple TV 4. I was watching Netflix 2 nights ago when it suddenly froze, I thought it was an internet issue so I reset my router and let it buffer for about 30 minutes. When it still wouldn't play I closed out Netflix and tried to reopen it. All I got was a spinning circle then a white screen. after a day of that I deleted Netflix and tried to re-download it. I got the same spinning circle followed by a white screen. I tried multiple times to resolve the issue and finally just rest the entire thing. Now I'm trying to set it back up and its stuck on the setup process while connected to my phone after failing multiple times. I've tried to set it up manually to no avail as well

How's the ATV4 signal strength from your router? It can be found under the Network settings. If ATV can't get a stable wifi connection, these symptom can occur. Assuming wifi and not Ethernet connection. I'd also restart the ATV4.

Right now I cant even get past the setup process, but last night it had 4 bars

Then I'd restart the ATV. Maybe something got hung up. Any other wifi devices there to confirm the router's working ok? You could also connect the ATV to the router using an Ethernet cable to eliminate any wifi/network issues causing this.

It's been restarted multiple times. I'm typing this on my computer maybe 7 feet from the ATV

Check your Netflix bitrate settings, sometimes choosing fixed instead of variable clears up many issues.
