Anyone else think that the layout for TV series Seasons is a little poorly organized. You have to scroll through the entire series from season one to get to the latest episode.

It would be more intuitive if they had an icon for each season and then had each episode organized within. Am I missing something, if not-- please Apple, fix this.

Same on ATV 3 too, and yes it's rather annoying.
Currently watching Game Of Thrones season 5 and have to scroll all the way to the bottom almost.
I know if you just put the ATV into standby and don't remove it from a power source then it stays at the latest episode, but I don't leave mine plugged in.
I think they should take a leaf out of Netflix's book on this one.

I bought all 6 seasons of Downton Abby for my wife and really don't like the organization. Not sure I would buy more anyway (because of cost) but this is certainly in the negative column when considering.
The ones I bought were Seasons 1-4 and then Season 5 and then Season 6. They are all under 1 icon labeled Final Season. Then when you open it you see one "row" of all episodes. It start with Season 1-4 and when you get past that you see the heading change to Season 5 and then Season 6. Again, all in 1 row. Now how dumb is that?

Suggestion for Apple. I am ok with 1 icon for Downton Abby but it should not be labeled as Final Season. And when you go into the App you need to separate by Season. There is no way to know in advance that the Season 6 that I want to watch now is in the row that is labeled Season 1-4. Again, how dumb is that. Do they not use their own product?

At least TV box sets are all together though, film box sets are more annoying in that 1) they don't appear as a boxset and 2) they're listed alphabetically rather than run order.

Work-arounds:

For TV show seasons; set up smart/playlists in iTunes... they do wonders for organization. ;-)

For Movies; change the "sort name" in the files' metadata (i.e.. Batman 01, Batman 02, etc.)

HTH

iTunes on ATV4 is bloody awful. Shamefully awful. Apple is astonishingly lazy in this regard. It reminds me of System 6, when I first used a Mac in 1988.

To make things worse, if you live in a non-englisch country, you have three variations per season listed: the dubbed version, the dubbed version with subtitles and the original version. Just looking at Doctor Who (and trying to find the episodes) is a major pain.
I don't know, they just don't pay attention to the details anymore. Sigh.
