Apple TV 4K and multiple Apple ID's?

I have an Apple TV 4K and want to access some UK apps and content. I have Nord so can VPN that part, but I can't download the app I want because my Apple ID is Canadian. I was thinking of making a UK Apple ID. Can I then jump between 2 Apple ID's on the Apple TV? Use the UK Apple ID and VPN to appear to be in the UK to download the BBC app iPlayer and then watch content on it? Or is that going to cause headaches?

The Apple TV has the ability to use multiple Apple IDs. It shouldn’t be a problem, but I’ve never done that specifically.
