Apple TV 4K - Best Buy Pre-Order?

Did anyone else preorder through Best Buy? I placed my order Monday AM and it said, and still says on the order status page, I’d get it by this Friday. I have not seen any movement yet however. Curious if anyone has the same or different experience with them so far. This is my first time ever pre-ordering anything through Best Buy.
 
I went to my local Bestbuy yesterday and chatted with one of their sales rep, now take this with a grain of salt but he stated they already have it in the back but was told not to sell it until this Friday 9/22.

We don't have a 4K TV so right now we are not in the market for it. I think we will stick with the AppleTV4 for now. If and when we get a 4K TV we'll upgrade.

I am exited though with the news that HD content purchased will include 4K without having to repurchase all the content.
 
I preordered via Best Buy and it still says Pre-Ordered, but I would guess that'll change today or tomorrow.
 
Ordered my 32GB this morning.... it changed to preparing already..

Edit: Now it just shipped

Got get the text message that my order has shipped. Ordered a 32GB on Friday in the morning.

I ordered mine as soon as I could have. Mine also still says pre-ordered. My guess, and this is coming from a BB employee, is that it is based on region and what warehouses are getting them in stock first. I'm sure by the end of the day, a majority of people's order will be changed to Preparing, or even shipped.

Ordered on Friday morning. Just received a notice that it was shipped by USPS. No delivery date since it has not been picked up by USPS.
 
I've been asking the same thing. Ordered mine at 8am on Friday at Best Buy and it only says "preordered" but it does say it delivers by Sept 22. I'm hoping the status changes soon because I really want it Friday!
