those who have it how do you rate the 4K quality? Is it as good as you expected or hoped?

Trying to decide if it’s worth getting as the content I get on BT sport for 4K is great so want views on content that has been upgraded for 4K

Quality will be dependent on the quality of the TV as to how much you get from the new HDR pictures, I find the Apple TV picture quality very good indeed and with so much content appearing every day it’s a good buy.

Found BT Sport to be pretty much top notch all things considered.

The few films I have watched on Apple TV, they are on par. It is ahead of Netflix for me. I think Netflix pins the rate at 15 and BT and apple are 20+??

This is on a LG HDR only TV.

It's beautiful. We have the Panasonic EX700. ATV 4K looks gorgeous on it. We have a Panasonic UHD 4K BluRay player too for playing old DVD box sets BUT we've never used it. ATV gets all the use.
4K HDR films look stunning and so does iTunes HD films - never had a bad one picture wise.
In fact, I'm writing my Christmas cards that I designed on the MacBook Photos app & that Apple printed whilst watching HOME ALONE (which was FREE on 12 days of Christmas many years ago) AND Apple have upgraded it to 4K!!!

I love this device as it works perfectly with my rose gold MacBook and iPhone X. iTunes films appear on all three devices and to me, that's wonderful Couldn't be happier. It fits in 100% with my lifestyle

I’ve got a 55 inch 4K TV from LG so I’m guessing it will look great on 4K. Tempted to make the jump from my old one if the content for 4K is that good..hmmm

You'll love it!!! Just been talking about it at the gym this evening. Being surfing mad, i'm truly obsessed with the WSL World Surf League app and Red Bull TV.
It's a very very very classy and elegant little box. The user interface is gorgeous. The ATV Remote app on the iPhone X works beautifully.

Between Netflix, Amazon and Apple Movies you won't be short on 4K content. The image quality is sublime too, you won't be disappointing. However there is no 4K playback through Youtube.

Only sports With the football mainly

BT have missed a trick I think, only showing sport. 4K is delivered very well on the platform.
