Out of the box my Apple Tv 4K while streaming Netflix or something video related it will stop during and disconnect from the internet for a few seconds. I tried hooking it up to a range extender via ethernet cable but when i did that it knocks out the extender. Has anyone else had this problem?

disconnect from the internet for a few seconds.

What do you mean by disconnects? You see Netflix buffering? You have to go into settings and reconnect your network, or it resumes after a few seconds.

When it disconnects have you checked your WiFi on another device?

It does two different things. If it’s connected to my home network it disconnects and after about a minute it connects again to it but during that minute it acts as if my router crashed yet it hasn’t cause it doesn’t affect other devices. Since this happens frequently I bought a range extender and connected the Apple Tv exclusively on it and when it’s connected to that it does knock it out where you can’t connect anything to the range extender.
