Apple TV 4K no atmos on Netflix

Hi, my setup is apple tv 4k + Sonos Arc SL + Lg C1. I get Dolby atmos when I play Apple content like Apple Music or Apple TV+ but not from Disney+ or Netflix.

Any Idea how to fix this?

Have you tried force closing the apps and reopening or even going into settings and giving the ATV a restart?

Yes. it doesn’t work. What is weird is that Netflix doesnt even show that atmo sis available. But when I watch the same show on the Netflix of the Tv , atmos works no problem.

I didn’t think the Homepod Mini’s were even capable of Atmos.

It even says so on Apples support site.

It’s a strange one. I had read that also. I can only assume that it was some sort of glitch before as the option was there and audio was supposedly playing in Dolby Atmos via the HP Mini.

I’ve had this issue for ages and just learnt to live with it at this point.

For context; I have Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen), LG G1 & 2 OG Homepods as my setup.

Same here. I’m using the ATV 4K 2017 running tvOS 15.3 with my Sony Bravia XBR-X800H TV with no problems.

OP, how is the ATV connected to your TV? Also, does your TV have the ability to pass through DV and Atmos? I suspect your issue lies with your TV and/or how it is set up and connected to your ATV.
