I have 2 Apple Tvs in close proximity to each other (other side of a wall).
My main living room ATV, I use a Harmony remote to control everything (I do not use an appletv remote).
In my bedroom I use the AppleTV remote with the bedroom ATV. From time to time (especially after upgrading the TVOS on both boxes) I notice the ATV remote defaults to the main living room ATV. In order for me to fix it, I have to unplug power from the main living room ATV, then re-sync the remote to the bedroom ATV, then plug the living room ATV back on.

Kind of a headache, and no idea why this keeps happening. Any clues?

I’m speculating here…

ATV1 and ATV2 have been paired to the same remote at one time in the past. I think you will need to unpair the remote from ATV1 while ATV2 is turned off. Once unpaired, turn ATV1 off and turn on ATV2 and pair the remote. To unpair, you may need a second remote to pair, which will take its place.

I'll give that a try again. Thanks
