how's latency? for me it was not terrible but quite annoying though.

This setup is the **** for me. And I got two space gray this week for $250 a pop from connection. Well worth it. Now to wait for HomePod minis to reduce in price. Maybe down to $50 and I replace all my echos in the house ?

Would be great if Apple expanded the capabilities of the ATV4K-Gen2 / HomePod audio by letting us use HomePod Minis as rears and / or center channel.

i just found their sound incomparable to a pair of proper bookshelves speakers. to each their own.

I agree...

I went from 2 HomePods to a Yamaha 2.1 Stereo receiver with 2 Paradigm 200B speakers and a sub (to accommodate a turntable), and the 2 HomePods, IMO, are not remotely in the same ballpark.

I still love the HomePods and have them around the house, but they are no where near comparable to my new setup.
