Apple TV 4th Gen Available Memory Question

I have looked in every screen in the Settings area, is there not a way to see how much space you have available left? As I install apps I would like to see how I am doing as far as space goes.

You can't, unless you buy an app like TVstorage.

Even with an app you can never really know how much storage is free at any given moment. This is because Apple does NOT store memory on iPhones, iPads, Apple watches and/or Apple TV's the same way that you do on your computer. They use a new system called App Thinning. I wish Apple did the same on OS X.... I guess it's not possible technically ? This would also control the "more memory footprint than needed" issues that could happen over time

The new OS Sierra will be include a similar process.
