I purchased a new 32GB 4th generation Apple TV on eBay for $95 and I believe I got a great deal, however, I am now having buyers remorse. The new 4k Apple TV is much more expensive at $179 + tax (almost $200) but supposedly its much faster and has other perks. I don't have a 4k TV and currently have a 1080p TV but would it still have been worth it to pay the extra money for the 4k Apple TV because of the updated specs?

If you don’t have a 4K TV seems pointless upgrading to the 4K version

Stay with what you have

DEFINITELY get the ATV 4K is you love watching film. WHY? Simple - the auto frame rate switching is the ultimate reason! You won't see any judder etc. And we should see Dolby Atmos added this year.
PLUS with the A10X, it's pretty future proof for the next 2 years until ATV 6 launches with HDMI 2.1
ATV is an investment. Go for the best one. AND go for the 64GB if you plan on streaming 4K film when you upgrade your TV :)
