Apple TV 4th Generation won't turn on

My Appel TV looks to be totally dead. I've tried all all the steps to get it working again but to no avail. The last step was to by a USB-C to USB cable and restore it through Apple. So I did that and iTunes is not picking it up. However, I'm not sure if the Belkin USB-C Cable to USB-A supports data transfers. I have a 2015 retina MacBook Pro. On the Belkin package it does say it supports USB 2.0 for syncing and data transfers. So I should be good right?
 
If your are near an apple store, I recommend taking it the and letting them diagnose the problem.
