I´ve bought the Apple TV 4th generation (32 GB). The overall experience is good but for these 2 bugs.

1. Facetime won´t rotate to landscape on Apple TV
When making a Facetime call (mirroring), Apple TV doesn´t display the call in landscape mode (only rotates 90 degrees) even though it´s correctly displayed in the iPhone).

Only portrait mode is available, which means a ridiculously small UI in the middle of the TV with two huge black bars at the left and right.

I´ve tried to mirror other apps which offer video-conference and they just work both in landscape and portrait. However, the call quality is not as good as Facetime´s.

I called Apple TV´s support and they told me it´s an issue that has been on board since iOS8. How come they haven´t fixed it yet? I live abroad and being able to Facetime my family and friends (big screen + good voice quality) is very important. I just hope they can fix this issue soon.

2. Error when changing songs
If I reproduce My lists or play an album from my iPhone 6 s in AppleTV via Airplay or mirroring it works just fine.

However, if I just select a particular song from an album it gives me an error in iPhone, it doesn´t reproduce that song and it goes automatically to the following song which it´s reproduced.

So in a 10 songs album, let´s say I want to listen song #4, I tap it, there is an error and it reproduces automatically #5. So if I want to reproduce #4, all I have to do is tap #3 it will give the error and go to the next song (#4). Sometimes it just give that error and keeps moving around the songs lists without reproducing music.

I´ve seen the Facetime issue reported on the net but no reports regarding the second one. Does anyone have the same issue with the music?

Why would you use AirPlay Mirroring to stream music from you iPhone 6S to your ATV4...? What not use native non-mirrored Airplay and cast it instead?

I just forgot to include it.
Thanks for pointing it out, edited and added.
Still the same bug.

After I installed everything good free (about 200 apps) and then some more , I have a bug that not all apps would uninstall via " wiggle, play/pause" method,( they wiggle, but doesn't register play/pause) but I had to go to Applications Menagement in Settings.

Yup, #1 drives me nuts, and it's been a problem for a while. It used to rotate to landscape correctly, because using Facetime on a big screen was fun. Now it sucks.

So it´s been for a while and still they haven´t fixed it.
I wonder why is taking them so long to solve this problem.

Because it isn't something that most people do. I imagine the bugs they fix first are high priority while other ones are pushed out because they're not.

Maybe you´re right and they don´t get as much reports as with other bugs.
But still, they must have performed several debugging cycles before the release.
This product feels more like a beta version for sale.

I agree, i rarely (i.e. never) use face-time, and wouldn't have thought of using it and then slaving. I know my kids slave games, i'll ask them if it's working.

I guess so, not all users use the same functions. And not many of them are using Facetime on their TV. But for those who live abroad, being able to see your family on a big screen and feel them "closer" is very important.

Apple´s devices are not free, we spent money on them for using specific functions that the company offers. You except some quality.

I wouldn´t mind finding this kind of bugs in a free app/service though.

I have the second issue when my boyfriend is streaming music stored locally to my ATV4 from his iPhone 5S on 9.2.

Hopefully, they will fix it soon, he has so much music stored on his phone it is a bit annoying to have to switch to mine for Apple Music streaming instead which seems to have no issues if in the cloud.
