Apple TV and Netflix

I have the original ATV and I was wondering if I upgrade to a new ATV and I get Netflix, will the download speed be effected by the internet connection or my Apple Extreme?

I live in Canada and I am using Bell. It is the only one available where I live.

So which one is faster and which one is the bottleneck? I am assuming you know for most of the world the bottle neck is the internet connection itself. What I think you are asking for is this -> https://support.netflix.com/en/node/306

Thanks. I assumed it would be the internet. Therefore, the slower the download speed the slower the Netflix download speed. This would, of course, feet the streaming (viewing). Sounds logical.
