Apple TV and new LG TV

I have the new Apple TV connects to a LG C1. What is the best combination of settings to have them in. I have the Apple TV set to 4K Dolby Vision but should I have the LG TV set to filmmaker mode or some other settings?

First you should set the ATV to match frame rate and dynamic range. Match dynamic range is a must since it will adjust the TV based on sdr, hdr, and dolby. Keeping your tv on hdr or dolby will blow out a lot of colors/images if not displayed in those formats. Additionally, high brightness levels that those formats bring with reduce the lifespan of the tv and increase the risk of burn in although LG does a good job of this.

As far as LG settings I set sdr, hdr, and dolby to cinema home but that will vary based on your preferences, lighting conditions, etc.

No need to have Dolby Vision enabled all the time, recommended settings are 4K SDR@60Hz and just make sure Match Content is enabled.
