Pluribus was great. Silo also.

I stopped watching Shrinking after season 1….. just found it kinda annoying in a way that’s hard to express.

Cape Fear shows promise. I’ll watch anything that has Scorsese‘s name attached. The rest — meh.

Apple needs to do something. Their programming is awful. We even stopped watching Ted Lasso. After the 1.5 seasons. Too much of a sugar rush.

Hopefully they're all low budget movies because they sound like a waste of time (for the viewer) and money (for Apple).

Not interested in 99% of this. Way of the Warrior Kid looks mildly interesting, simply because it seems to have some moral compass. Also can't stand how Apple takes properties that clearly should be movies and turns them into series just so they can justify their subscription price. All the streamers do it but Apple seems especially prolific at it.

Matchbox the WHAT?

He-Man, Transformers, Voltron, GI Joe... toys turned into movies. Fine. But Matchbox?! And it isn't even about cars?! Now that I think about it, Gone in 60 Seconds would have worked as a Matchbox or Hot Wheels branded movie...

Cape Fear and Lucky might be good. Planning to watch them. Besides the new shows many others are also returning this year.

So subscribe 12/1, bing 'em all in the month of December and cancel on 12/31 ...
True, one wants to wait until December. Apple releases the first two episodes immediately and then one a week. So you have to wait until they are all online.

Yea, most streaming services do it that way.
I had ATV as part of my TMobile plan for like 2 years, didn't use it much, can't really get into the "modern" shows, just not for me (that is not ATV specific, it's for everything out there).
And I just lost it as I switched to VZ, not missing it, and if I ever do, I'll do like I said in my original post.

How does Nueromancer not have a release date!?
just tune a pre-ATSC TV to a dead channel.

I'm interested in 2 movies, maybe. I should start making a list for the next time there's a big trial offer. After actual reviews I may add more. Horror + comedy seems weird, but also: why so many "dark" shows on this service?

6 years in and I still dont see how Apple TV+ streaming services with their own production fit in to their grand stratergy. It isn't making money, wont be any time soon, and adds very little value as funded production.

It is the same with Apple Fitness+. A lot of these are distractions. Things that Apple should be focusing on but not.

Eternity already had its theatrical run and it was terrible. I’m really interested in the Cape Fear remake.

Not really in to the kind of crime drama stuff these fit in to.
My first impression is that they all sound a bit same-y. Nothing wrong with female-led romantic comedy crime dramas (pick any 3) - but if some is good, more is not necessarily better!

OTOH, this seems to be just "new shows" - not returning ones. So we should get at least For All Mankind and Slow Horses this year - which adds a bit of variety. As usual (as with most streaming) the problem is the long wait between seasons that comes from making TV shows like they were movies.
