Apple TV can't play AIFF or WAV files

What the heck??
I have some music my artist just is having mixed. Apple TV won't play any WAV or AIFF files.

these are such as basic file type, why would apple cripple it????

TV does indeed play AIFF and WAV files. Can you describe the problem you are having?

I haven't had any problems playing AIFF files (haven't tried WAVE). The only problem I noticed is how much longer they took to sync (because of the file size).
