it's not apple, the price is set by the services. as a channel, they have to agree to the whole 15/30% system cause the payment is handed by Apple so they raise the price so they don't lose money. and before anyone says "yeah so Apple raised the price" remember that no one made them agree to be a channel. CBS decided they wanted to join and they decided they don't want to lose the $1.80 a month

accept you are completely wrong. CBS All Ccess has ALWAYS been $5.99 for commercials and 9.99 for commercial free. With a discount offered for yrly

most likely their live tv. I have yet encounter any commercials on anything I watched

Yes I have wish Apple TV+ was new original shows AND the catalogue of iTunes Movie Store. I would pay 50-75 dollars a month. It would truly be a cable-killer. I would even save money.

oucare asking too much for too little. There’s bo way in heck that would EVER happen.

Just tap on the round CBS button and scroll down to the Comedy section and "see all". Easy to overlook BBT though, since the icon for the show is currently "The Final Season".

Gotcha, so even after you purchase it, the 'circle' is like the standalone app. Excellent, thanks!

I wish more of these channels come to Norway. I love the idea of combining the content of several providers into one app. Still just Smithsonian though

Hmmm... I'm still not seeing CBS as a channel option. I wonder if it's because I subscribe to CBS All-Access through iTunes already (but the $5.99 version with commercials).

Have any current CBS All-Access subscribers had luck switching to the CBS Apple Channel?

Edit: Ah, apparently you need iOS 12.4 — didn’t realize my phone hasn’t auto-updated.

Yes they have announced exactly what it is, you must be in extreme denial. If they were providing a subscription to the iTunes video store, that would be the product and any originals would just be extra/ancillary...Not the headline.

No, they have not. There’s a difference between $9.99 for Apple Music + Tv and $9.99 for just a few shows which is what you’re implying.

Apple has not announced their pricing or subscription model. You have no basis to criticize them for something they haven’t even announced any details about.

You don't get it. That's OK.

Apple announced Apple TV+ already.

If it were in any way shape or form a subscription to video content other than that directly made and owned by Apple, that would have the leading news and their leading talking point. It would be as big of a deal as Apple Music, but more because video content is so much more popular and valuable than music today. Original content would have been an afterthought.

It is well known that Apple has failed utterly in their attempts to bring subscription of licensed content to their users. They have been trying for years, and failed. Well. Documented.

Whenever they get around to launching it, the price will come along, and that is the extent of what is not known. Apple has already listed every single show that will be available on Apple TV+.

The yearly discount it's interesting. Unfortunately Apple TV channels don't offer yearly subscriptions.

yeah, prefer to pay for my stuff yrly, instead of being nickel and dimed. With that said you can’t trust these apps. I am a BroadwayHD sub and because of TVOS wretched update that app no longer works. So if I paid yrly, I’d be screwed
