I was being facetious šThatās one way yes. Or just download the Apple TV+ app.
This shown method is for those who want everything in one place. Now you can search Appleās catalogue inside Prime Video and stream.

I doubt it will make much of a dent either way. This feels sloppy strategically and un-Apple to me. The very limited exposure this gives them doesnāt make up for the loss of control over distribution and degradation of brand.
Plot twist: It turns out youāre in the Matrix and itās a subscription as well.Subscrinceptionš¤Ŗ
Only reasonable if you're also using the other services...which I am not.I would've never paid $9.99 for Apple TV+. Apple One makes Apple TV about $4 per month, which I think is more reasonable.
Itās additional advertising in Prime for Apple TV titles, and Prime Video searches will turn up Apple TV titles. Even if customers then use Apple TV+, itās still a win.I'm an Amazon Prime member, and I also have Apple TV+, and two Apple TV boxes. I don't see any value in trying to access Apple TV content from my Prime account. Just seems redundant in my case. I wonder if this really impacts anyone on this forum.

I hope thereās some other undisclosed part of the deal. Prime Video being an Apple TV Channel would be a start. Maybe something to do with NFL or MGM content? Or something else entirelyāeven from another arm of AMZNās business?
I pay for one or two months per year, whenever there's a batch of my favorite shows to binge. Is anyone actually paying for Apple TV+?
I know I am happy to pay my dues to Apple for my apps I make and sell, because I wouldn't have a business if it wasn't for their platform and APIs. In the bad old days I would have been very, very lucky to take home 30% before tax, with DVD manufacturing, Storage, shipment, distribution. Hell the physical shop took 40-50% straight off.
I feel people just don't get that at all.
Seriously, no, I'm sure they won't be paying 30%, but they will have hammered out an equitable and mutually beneficial deal (from Amazon and Apple's position) which is what happens when two businesses each have something the other wants.

Is anyone actually paying for Apple TV+? I feel like there is a voucher for X months for free all the time.
Come back when they decide to become your competitor and you'll be removed from their store.Excatly. They are happy to pay 30% because it's their platform. They developed it, they created the devices that allows companies to exist off the back of it.

I feel people just don't get that at all. And the open source evangelists... don't they have a home and family to pay for? Actually probably not, they are either multi-millionaires from way back or live in their mom's basement.
Eventually they will stop letting you use vouchers on that apple account lol (I speak from experience)Is anyone actually paying for Apple TV+? I feel like there is a voucher for X months for free all the time. Just yesterday I bought a AppStore gift card of 25 bucks on Amazon and when I applied the voucher on the AppStore on my iPhone, they also offered me 3 months of free TV+ in a pop up.
Deserved or not, that is true for all streaming services. Appleās only draw is Ted Lasso. The thing is, as tent-pole shows are concerned, Rings of Power draws a lot more viewers than Foundation or Severance.
I think I have maybe paid for 1 month of Apple TV+ because I forgot to change to the promotional package from T-MobileIs anyone actually paying for Apple TV+? Yes, people without a clue but with an opinion based on nothing. Amazon has lots of channels (subscriptions)...adding Apple TV+ is nothing new.People donāt seem to be familiar with the fact that Amazon does this with lots of streaming services

Itās like Apple offering āChannelsā in the TV app.
Iām pretty sure thereāll be a commission or other exchange of value. Amazon wonāt be doing this for nothing.
I donāt think people had an issue with paying Apple to distribute on the Apple Store. The issue was that you could only distribute iPhone apps in that way, and outside of Europe it still works that way. For now. What are you on about?
Of course Apple is paying Amazon for the right to distribute their content on Amazon's platform. That's how business works.
