Has anyone heard anything about Apple developing or partnering with a business to create a device to work as a DVR with Apple TV? I know there are some devices out there that will work with Apple TV and also, record OTA programs. I'd be more interested in a device dedicated specifically to Apple TV.

Other than streaming services (currently Sling and Sony Playstation Vue, soon DirecTV and likely others) or existing network tuner boxes (currently Tablo and HDHomeRun), I doubt you'll get such functionality native on the AppleTV.

Tablo just came out with their AppleTV app and it works really well.

I don't think Apple would like that, nor copyright holders for one... as permanent storage..

Seems we've switched from the hard drive style of Apple TV 1 and that was "ok" to "negative thinking"

If a dvr would be included, i'd assume it would be like Foxtel, where shows would delete themselves after 24 hours.. Personally, i'd be fine with that. (well, actually i wouldn't if it was my favorite show)
