Apple TV flicker

Recently purchased an Apple TV 4K to go with the new Sony TV XR55A90JU 55
When watching TV & listening to music through the A,pple TV now and again we get a flicker on the TV and a crackle through the speakers. On one occasion the unit froze. We have tried all of the below and the problem still exists.

- Had the AppleTv replaced for another unit.
- Changed the HDMI cable for a new one.
- Tried all HDMI ports on TV
- Different power source ie wall socket.

Any help greatly appreciated
