i love playing the simple one touch type games on the new Apple TV but i'm kind of concerned that using the remote that came with it is gonna wear it out. i'd really like to get peoples' opinions on what the best apple tv controllers are. i'm at work so my web browsing is kind of limited.

The Nimbus is good. It has a Lightning port and also works with iOS and OSX. There are no gyroscopes or tilt sensors unlike proper console controllers, but the software doesn't support it anyway.

I have the Nimbus because that was the only one out at the time.

I heard the Hori one is better - is it?

Doubt it. It's got longer battery life but who cares? I don't think it even has a Lightning port and it looks hori-ble.

Here's a good review thread on the controllers that are available for the ATV4.
