I was just suggesting a solution that does not require a hack. I don't see how this is such an outrageous method.

You seem to imply that connecting a camera to your mac an streaming to the apple tv is about as comfortable as pluging it to the very device you intend to use it with.

Let's see, you suggest using a machine you do not want to see the pictures in, and tinker with it, being a computer that is not your own, starting launching programs and messing with an iPhoto library full of pictures that are none of your business (and delete the pictures when you are done, I guess -hope you do not screw up deleting something else). All that hassle, everytime you want to show a dozen pictures. Your friend is really going to appreciate the interest…

this thread got a little tense. why doesn't everyone just sync some Jack Johnson to the TV's and relax a little.

or i suppose if you're all hacked up, you could plop in a thumb drive with all of your John Mayer! that's fine too.
