The HD rentals are far superior to the SD movies. The difference is very clear. I guess you could get by with SD on comedies. Not me though, I love watching movies in HD. I mean, transformers HD vs trasformers 720P that I downloaded, even on my 13'' macbook the difference is incredibly apparent, i can only imagine what it'll look like in 1080P on blu-ray on my 73'' screen
