I am interested in Apple TV. I'm thinking about Apple TV 3 gen but I have a question. I know that home sharing is still available on Mac. So when I will make home sharing to Apple TV will be there my offline Apple Music songs? Or maybe only songs added from normal files and bought in iTunes? I know that there is no information about Apple Music on older ATV but offline songs are storage on my MacBooks memory.

Not sure if I understand the question. But if you enable home sharing in iTunes on your Mac, you can then access your whole iTunes library on the AppleTV 3 through the "Computers" icon. This includes music and movies that you purchased from Apple as well as content that you ripped yourself from CD or DVD.

The only "gotcha" is that you need a working internet connection for some reason or the AppleTV won't connect to your Mac. This has been discussed in various other threads and there seems to be some disagreement on the topic. All I know is that when my internet connection goes down, I can no longer access the iTunes library on my Mac Mini from my Apple TV. OTOH, I can still access it using home sharing on my MacBook Air.

Ok that's right whole music library like added songs from CDs and bought in iTunes but what about offline music from Apple Music stream? Songs from that streaming also can be storage on Mac memory but also have DRM security and I don't have certainty about their appearance in home sharing.

OK I've checked. Offline songs from Apple Music don't show in home sharing option. That's not cool because I had hoped that it can works. It means that I need to wait for new Apple TV :/
