Hello,
I’ve just migrated from my old Macbook Air to a new one. It went smoothly but Apple TV struggled. My question is, is there a way to get a list of which files/episodes are missing?
I think the problem was the folder structure. This library started off in iTunes, migrated to the an older version of the TV app and now into a new version, so probably caused a few oddities. As best as I can tell, the new version expected to find the files in ‘TV/ShowName/Season 1’ while the older version lumped them all into ‘TV/ShowName’. For some reason the locate tool couldn’t figure this out.
Initially it said that 2900 files were missing. At the start every file was a broken link. However as I started going though I found that more and more files were actually working. Perhaps the locate function figured it out?
I know in music I can see a list of all songs with an exclamation mark next to missing files. Is there anyway to easily see what’s still missing?
