Hey all. I'm on the verge of buying an Apple TV, but I'm doubtful about whether I should get a new one for $229 or I should just get one from eBay for about $170.

I know that many of the ones being sold online are older models... thus my question: are there any real differences between the older models and the ones released a few months ago?

In other words, other than the fact that a new Apple TV comes with a new warranty, is it really worth it to get a new one instead of an older/used one?

Thank you everyone.

FWIW, a refurbished 40GB :apple:tv from Apple.com is $199 with free shipping and a full 1-year warranty.
