Hi all, new to this so hoping someone can help and advise. I have just purchased
Apple TV 3 gen. It is set up ok but I have no sound coming through, as my HD TV is fairly old and I presume the HDMi connection does not support sound. As stated in the Apple instructions.
I do have a Panasonic sa ht-530 home cinema system connected to the TV, but this is fairly old too, and does not have Hdmi or optical digital audio connections. How can I connect from the optical digital on the Apple TV to my home cinemas system?
