So, I've been experiencing this issue lately...
AppleTV latest model is updated to 17.6.1 and is connected to the eArc port into my Sony Bravia. PS5 is also connected.
I use the Homepods pair as output device and it's set up to audio passthrough on the Apple TV and TV.
What it happens is that if while I'm watching live tv or something that cannot be paused I switch to the PS5, the audio from the Apple TV keeps playing.
It's also kinda funny playing TLOU with the Phillies game sound on while Harper homers, to be honest.
On the contrary, if while I'm playing something on demand like Disney or HBO or something that can be paused I switch to the PS5, then the previous audio stops and I get the sound from the PS5 with no issues.
Only hardware that was updated lately is the ATV, and this wasn't an issue before.
It's not a big deal and it's something that be prevented, but I'd like to know if I'm the only one getting this...and maybe a solution.
I have already rebooted, checked cables etc etc
