iPad Pro Apple TV on iPad Pro Killing WiFi

Has anyone experienced issues with the Apple TV app where if you have content on the cloud and you are trying to view it from the cloud (not yet downloaded) your WiFi connection gets killed? I have never seen this happen with any of my prior devices, but I have only used downloaded items not items on the cloud.

And specifically how is your WiFi connection killed? SSID not visible anymore? Reduced throughput? Blood on the router?

The problem is most likely your wireless router. Newer routers support MIMO, which allows for multiple streams without compromising overall network bandwidth. You would want to go with an AC1900 or higher router that supports MIMO, or an 802.11AX/WiFi6 router. AC only supports MIMO on specific models, whereas it is part of the AX specification. Older routers which lack MIMO support can easily cause that kind of issue when video is being streamed.
