The partnership will begin with the Scorsese film "Killers of the Flower Moon," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. According to IMDb, the film revolves around members of the Osage tribe in Oklahoma who were murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, sparking a major FBI investigation involving J. Edgar Hoover.

Scorsese is best known for his crime and gangster movies, such as 1973's Mean Streets, 1985's After Hours, 1990's Goodfellas, 2004's The Aviator, 2011's Hugo, 2013's The Wolf of Wall Street, and 2019's The Irishman.

Not a big fan of Apple TV+ but Scorsese is one of my favourite directors. Can't wait to see what comes of this.

Seems to be a lot of comments like yours on all of these deal/contract-related articles. “I’m not a fan, but....”

And that’s exactly what Apple wants Lol. They have a TON of talent onboard and I think this pandemic has tapped into a lot of people’s creativity. Apple TV+ is going to get better and better.

Planting the seeds.

I am not a fan but, I will be one if Apple keeps making moves like this.

I guess the comments come from the fact that nothing really great has made its way onto the platform yet. Until then you'll probably see more of these comments.

I think they launched the AppleTV+ service too soon. Apple has been at its best when, like its best hardware products, they make a release and everything is there are and ready.

They should've taken a year or two, signed up to film and TV makers and announced the service with a big catalogue of high quality stuff.

Instead they launched with what, 8 shows, that didn't set the world on fire and no chunky back catalogue.

I hear you. Your comment wasn’t bad at all. The “doom and gloom” comments from before the service even launched were annoying though. People were counting it out before it even launched and it’s still not even a year old. All of these deals are great. I tell them to just give it time.

Yeah that’s my point really is that everyone saying they aren’t a fan will likely become one once these films/series/docs actually release.

Quarantine has slowed things unfortunately, but I think 2021 will be huge.
