Apple TV remote and Sony Bravia

I just bought a Sony Bravia TV to replace a Samsung. I have an Apple TV 4K. Everything works fine, but with my Samsung I was able to control the sound of the TV with my Apple TV remote, no matter I was watching TV or something from the AppleTV, not the case anymore. So I need to use 2 remotes at the same time (the Sony remote can control the Apple TV, but not as useful to navigate). Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks, it works. Funny I passed that menu, I did that 8 years ago with my TV and back then I was using a IR wire and gadget in front of the TV. Thanks again

I have a Sony A80J and an Apple 4k 2021. I can not get the TV to turn off the Apple TV box! I prefer to use the Sony remote so I can adjust brightness and channels (which I cannot do with the Apple remote).
Braviasync does everything but control the power on the Apple.

Any ideas please?
