Apple TV remote apps on non-iOS devices

They all require a jailbreak. That is the only thing I cannot find a way around. There is no app that can work without a jailbreak.
Meant to say AirTwist.. not AirSync.
I'm able to stream videos and view photos from my S4 to Apple TV. But no remote control features. Sorry
