Hey everybody, I have a quick question. I have an apple tv and an iMac both in the same vicinity of each other. When I use my apple tv remote, it consequently controls my iMac! This is really annoying because when I start/pause a movie on my apple tv, it will play music from my Itunes account on the iMac. Can I disable the apple tv remote on my iMac? If so, will that disable the regular iMac remote? Thank ya'll for any responses.

pairing a remote

you'll have to pair both of them, as all it does is cause the device (computer) to list to a specific remote, but if left unpaired it will listen to all.

yes, you can disable the remote on the imac. It's in the security panel on system preferences
