Apple TV Remote opening Plex

Afternoon all!

I've tried to find an answer to this on the net to no avail and was wondering if any of you lovely people could help.

I've got Plex all set up and running nicely on ATV but for some weird reason whenever I press the "Menu" button on my ATV remote to go back, it opens Plex on my laptop.

While I am then clicking away using the ATV remote, it is then going through the menus of Plex on my laptop and clicking everything I'm doing on the ATV.

Is there a way to stop this please? 🙂

You can disable the infrared sensor on your MBP or stop Plex using the remote.

Ah I see, I've just seen the play button on my ATV Remote starts my itunes on my laptop as well.

How do I disable infrared on my macbook please?
