Apple TV today released a trailer for "Lucky," an upcoming crime series starring and executive produced by award-winning actress Anya Taylor-Joy.

The show revolves around a heist gone wrong.

"When a multimillion-dollar heist goes sideways, con artist Lucky (Taylor-Joy) is forced to go on the run," said Apple. "Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, Lucky must fight for her life — and a way out."

The limited series is based on Marissa Stapley's bestselling novel of the same name.

The first two episodes will be released on Wednesday, July 15, and one new episode will follow every Wednesday through August 19.

Apple's streaming service is available on the web and in the Apple TV app across many platforms. U.S. pricing is set at $12.99 per month or $129 per year.

This looks like it could be good. But I wish they'd just produce a good movie -- everything today is a series so streamers can sell subscriptions. I end up not watching a lot of stuff because I try to wait for all episodes to be out -- but by that point I've moved on.

Yay! Can't wait for another film about a 105lb person somehow knocking out multiple 250lb soldiers in a single fight.

It's called "strong and powerful independent woman", they can do everything because they have been genetically modified to have the muscles of 5 Arnold Schwat...Schwatrz... ... to have the muscles of 5 Mr Universe combined as well as the brain of Einstein, the agility of a cat and the martial arts knowledge of Bruce Lee. Those type of humans can do serious damages to anything. Yes they are light and looks fragile but it's exactly like a MacBook Air : it looks like a light and fragile computer but in reality it crushes 3 tons laptops like it's nothing.

All of that being said..... yes they will still be afraid of spiders, mice, squirrels, etc. and they will always end up asking a man to "help" with lifting everything "heavy". Humans never stop to amaze me 🙂

Apple needs to resort to cheap tricks (one episode a week) to keep viewers to suscribe! Give us the whole series to binge already. That's the whole point of streaming as opposed to cable TV. Pathetic behaviour from a billion trillion megazillion dollar company.

😂 you sound like my dad 🤦🏻‍♂️ it’s a tv show not real life, I don’t see her fighting anyone like you described in the trailer 🤷🏻‍♂️ if you don’t like it don’t watch 👍🏻.

Let’s do the most cliched edit with cliched music that’s been done a million times before. Yawn!
