We own three series 2 Apple TV's. We purchased a new 4K Apple TV for Christmas this year. The new Apple TV works fine. However, on both of my two older Apple TV's we can no longer sign in anymore. It won't accept the login anymore. Any idea why purchasing a new Apple TV would now prevent me from logging into our older ones?

Can you give more information? What are you signing into? when you say three series 2 ATV, do you mean ATV2?

I think I know what you’re going through.
Rant .. I think some should do a class action lawsuit to to slap Apple withthere stupid dealings with 2 factor authentication on older Apple TV s /rant

To log in on one of my appletvs I needed to goto to login screen enter password but don’t submit yet. Go to iPhone under settings -> security. Create a verification code. Quickly append that code to the end of the password on the Apple TV. Then submit. Repeat as needed!

I’d like to think that if Steve was still at the helm, asses would be kicked!!!
