Using Apple TV, is it possible to rent movies and watch them with subtitles (english, spanish, french or portuguese)?

Apple TV definitely supports subtitles now. I've not yet rented any foreign language films to confirm whether they have subtitles or not, but I imagine that they do otherwise they'd be unwatchable for most people
